The year 2025 was an incredible year! –
*Our Website changed to www.hopecville.org
*Our Christmas program for foster kids was another success as we served nearly 175 foster children in the region.
*An area where we really seemed to make a difference was helping with rent, food, and clothing. In most of those cases, kids were involved and either one of the parents was currently incarcerated or had been incarcerated at ACRJ in recent years. They were fighting to just stay above water and we, along with other organizations and local churches, were able to throw a lifeline. Currently all seem to be doing well and moving in a positive direction.
*On a more somber note, I received a phone call from a pastor friend of mine, saying someone had called looking for assistance for the family of a foster child. The child’s birth mom was found deceased and there was no money for burial expenses. As you can imagine, the child was distraught, so we were called. After visiting the funeral home and checking into the details, Hope is Everything paid for the cremation service to provide a sense of closure and dignity for the family. Afterwards, I heard from one of the people involved…“thank you so much — you were a godsend. You brought closure to a very difficult situation.” Thank you for making it possible for us to respond quickly and generously to those in need.

A Final Note –
As I reflected on the past year, I realized we’ve already passed the five-year mark and will be celebrating six years in September. The people we’ve reached and their stories stay with me, and I’m especially moved by the feedback we receive from partner organizations. I have and continue to share their stories with you because these situations and outcomes are real. Through Hope is Everything we’re able to make meaningful connections as we step in to care for the hurting, and in doing so we become part of a much larger picture beyond our own little world. What a blessing and a privilege it is to be part of this work together!
As always, thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Sincerely,
Joseph
